Hi all,
i am now the very proud owner of a fuze cavity cut away having 17A fuze, Clock, Zus 40, Gaines and inert exploder rings.
The fuzes themselves aren't cut away but have been painted yellow and red on bodies.
As of yet I can't remove fuzes from cavity as there is a locking ring in place that won't budge.
I think it's a made up training aid for bomb disposal as has stencilled on cavity "property of Lt D. C. Thompson RE" I think but stencilling is quite worn.
any ideas anyone?
