I would appreciate any help on finding out what all these stamps mean on the case and primer.

BLANK
EOC with circle cut into 5 sections underneath it
T.D within a circle with letter P underneath it
1912 CF
Broad arrow /|\ within a capital D

Small D within a circle
Small K over stamped with a large D

Primer markings, as follows.

No 1 over II T all over stamped with R and ED /|\ and faint No 1

Hi, nice case.

Firstly it's an 18pounder Mk1 case that was manufactured by the Elswick Ordnance Company (EOC) in 1912 and filled with a full charge of cordite (CF). Then on the 5th March 1913 it was stamped as BLANK (possibly a weekness was detected which meant it could no longer be used with a full charge?)

I'm sure someone else can tell you a lot more/ what the other stamps mean etc.

The pheon within the D is the Australian Land Service acceptance stamp.

Due to the proximity of the date to the acceptance stamp, I would be of the mind that this was the date of acceptance.

Have you a better image of the symbol under EOC?

Where is ALCO on the primer? and likewise the JS?

On closer inspection the JS within a circle looks like US within a circle.

It is - It's the Union Cartridge Company, sub-contracting to American Locomotive Company (I'll have to check the former as I haven't got my files with me at the moment and I'm going by memory.

The M on the primer means it has been refilled.

Lost on the symbol below EOC.

Correction - United States Cartridge Company is the correct name of the sub-contractor.
