Can anyone post a picture of an 18pr drill round? I have searched the net but have not had any luck.
Cheers

Hi,

Sorry, I can't remember who I bought it from, but these are the original photographs of a 25 pounder that I bought on Specialist Auctions a few years ago.

Cheers,

Gary

Thanks Gary, I guess the 18pr was similar but joined together. I cant believe that no one out there has a 18pr drill round.
Cheers Gary

18pdr DRILL rnd made of brass & hard rubber (tip of round has a square cut in it so as to replicate transit plug), I have period pics of wood & brass ones as well as a brass cart which has holes drilled through it & steel proj. Will post pics when I figure out how to crop the important bits from the main pic!

Thanks Rob,
All I need now is a battered 18pr cart with a decent base and an old adapter from a shrapnel shell fuze.

Cheers
