Just saved from destruction... A not so common (my opinion) 18Pr case made by Remington and there is still a painted yellow ring visible (=HE).

Well saved. I'm pretty sure I have a Remington case among my 60 or so 18 Pdr cases, but I agree, they are not that common. The whole of the head on an HE case was painted yellow and the filling details were printed in red.
