Hi,

Does anyone know anything about a German “Liquid Poison” gun?

I am just reading the book “The man with the poison gun” by Serhii Plokhy. The book covers the story of the assassin, Bogdan Stashinsky, who killed Ukrainians, Lev Rebet in 1957, and Stepan Bandera in 1959. The device used produced a cloud of hydrogen cyanide. The book states that the device was a development/improvement on a German World War 2-era liquid poison gun.

This is the first time I have heard anything about a German gun that delivered a poison liquid.

Try searching for this.

Not sure if this is what you are after, but it is likely to operate in a similar manner?

There are a number of references that mention the devices used in 1957/59. However, what I am interested in is the claim that the devices were based upon a German liquid poison gas gun.
