1971 dated Rarden case

I picked up a 1971 dated Rarden case at the car boot this morning. This date is alot earlier (about 10 years) than any others I've seen. Did I find a good one?

I saw six Rarden cases there today on two different stalls. I remembered to double check every one for that 1940s date (you can hope).

Manhurin manufacture

The early ones are all good ones Falcon, being so early I am guessing that it is a Manhurin MR produced case?????

Hi Falcon,

You've got a late dated (69 early dated) experimental rarden case. The 'screw in primers' either L16, L17 or in yours probably one imported from manhurin were used up till 91.

Best C.
