hi again, can anyone confirm that this is a Boxer, Percussion, No.2? It only measures 1.5 inches long

Hello Dave, Having re-catalogued and photographed the 'Firepower' fuze collection about three years ago, before it was boxed up and stored, I recognise the numbering system. Can you confirm the painted/stencilled numbers? It looks like 23 over 45, but this doesn't tie-in with their old catalogue. Trevor
 
hi Trevor, the numbers are 23 over 458 which I assumed to be a date. Also A5643. Not sure what the source of these fuzes was, it was part of a very large collection in any event. Dave
