Your 1 inch Aiming Rifle is a Mark V Electric made by Birmingham Metals & Munitions Co. Ltd and should be fitted with the Morris Patent Tube Electric primer.

Hi Weasel, yes they are nice, I already had a couple so these add to the collection, picked up all 3 cases in Exeter a few weeks ago.
TonyE, Thank you for the information, I also picked up a FNB copper washed .50 round on the same outing.

Hello Richard, Here's mine, the projectile is a recovered fired one with the rifling grooves filled and the whole painted. I think this may be the primer Tony E describes, definitely electric, perhaps Tony could confirm this? Cheers, navyman.
