2.95” Mountain Gun shell carrier

Hi folks, I have this (what I believe to be) carrier for 2.95” mountain gun shells. My question is if anyone has pictures of one of these from that era?? When I bought it, the guy showed me two photos of what looked like British soldiers with them from the Boer War era, but I can’t find those pics myself for the life of me. Thanks in advance to anyone that might be able to provide ‘em!

This is from; (U.S.) Handbook of the 2.95-inch mountain gun matériel and pack outfit ... June 10, 1912 on archive -
But I don't think it will help you . Likely what you have goes inside of some kind of protective carrier/Panier.
