I thank Krt7,92 for his interesting Drill items. I wish to add to this thread for 2" Mortar Drill Rounds. I hope this is OK.
I show two Drill mortars from my collection and four others I had on file from various sales and web sites.
!. Drill Mk1. Varnished body with yellow band. AMCO 2/44 on dummy alloy fuze. 1 pin fixing to body.
2. Drill Mk 1/1. Black body with red and yellow bands.WAV 8/52? on dummy steel fuze. Welded to body. Tail stamped BB 7 52.
3. Drill, black, white print
4. Drill, White, black print.
5. Drill, blue, white print 1965 dated.
6. Practice blue, 1950 dated.
I would like to find more examples. They all look British made.
