Hi,attached are pics of a 2" mortar that came as part of a collection, has any one any info on the colour scheme at all. All parts are British ww2 date. Fuse is a stripped out 151 dated 40 body is dated 40,and fins too. cheers tig
Hi chaps thanks for the replies. This type of round with a stripped out fuse was also used for the mk 2 drill,but as spotter says the practice as far as im aware should be black with a yellow band,this one is green with a yellow band. not shown in any of my 2" mortar books,so why green? Dutch or Belgian,armourers round,modern hash up,cheers tig
