Can some one please help me with the over all length of a 2 pounder No 2 Armour Piercing or HE ? Case with projectile.

A Drill round would work just fine.

Its going to vary considerably depending on what projectile type you have.
The mk 1 littlejohn AP for example is a lot shorter than the APCBC.

I am looking for, what I thought was normal, the standard No.2 over all length. The case is being a 40 x 304 R.

These aren't official figures, but according to my tape measure the original plain AP measures 417mm; APSV (Littlejohn) Mk 1 is about 410mm; Mk 2 about 435mm; and an HE round (later nose-fuzed type) I have is around 440mm.
