I didn't have any of these for ww2 and today I picked up these.
I paid too much for the one with paint, the other was half the price.
Well I think I did anyways-
The painted one is 1941 (markings difficult to read), the other which has a practice fuze
marked as a plug, 1940 case and projectile, 41 plug.

Hi Gordon, nice HE, I doubt you paid too much, easily 200 pounds for an unmolested one. Can you photograph the fuzes on both and try to id the shell makers or get a pic please. Cheers Tig.
