2 pr practice

Picked this up, 1931 practice in a 1918 case. case a bit distorted
when some one removed the projectile. I don't see these over here, but expect
the UK is crawling with them. I seem to accidentally be collecting them ~

The other one is a recovered lamp (cheap) then there is a cigar trimmer
version, and on the upside a time fuzed example waiting for me.

Very nice Gordon, i wish the UK was crawling in 2pr rounds, not the case I am afraid, don't know where all our 2pr stuff went but it ain't here :)

Interesting 2pr practice (3rd picture ) in that the later more common practice have either a shell that replicates the WWII HE shell or is like yours but has no flats on the plug. There are lots of practice shell most without bands but I've never seen one like yours but I've only 3 different sorts. Cases are very common from both wars.
 
Yes i agree with you Clive, there are a lot of cases around but complete rounds are hard to find.
