20 pounder, but what type of projectile?

Have been offered this shiny thing, a desk ornament from way back when the danish army still had Centurions with 20 pounder guns on them. Obviously fired once upon a time but at what? A range target, or is this some kind of dummy/drill thingy?

I only know the army had HESH and APDS ammo for the Centurions.

I believe that is a base ejecting smoke projectile. The "SMK" stamped on the side indicates some sort of smoke projectile.

Hmmm.. will see if I can get the guy a bit down in price. Anyway, what colour should it have? That sickly light green I've seen smokeshells with?
