20mm APDS

I have a 20 x 139 APDS round, can anyone tell me the origin of the projectile.
It is different of the HVAP-DS DM63 one and looks like the 30mm Rarden cartridge projectile

Hi M,
The NWM on the headstamp would indicate Holland, Nederlandsche Wapen-en Munitiefabriek

Hello Maverick 1112003
This is an American design APDS. It was invented by Fritz Feldmann, August 29, 1969-pacific technology. This design is still far, for the German DM63 APDS.
This model is experimentally acquired for the development of the DM63.
I have an original American in my collection, but also a German Rheinmetall with early destiny number.

That would explain why the design is practically the same as the American 20x102mm APDS-T that was used on their CIWS guns. Very interesting and thanks for posting houtzager!
