20mm Hispano manufacturer and country of origin

Good evening, I wonder if anyone can identify the country of origin and manufacturer of this 20mm Hispano projectile? I’ve not come across this style of marking before.

I have a loaded Hispano Ball Headstamped BBC 1942 20MM
The horizontal stamps are in 3 lines: Made by Bridgeport Brass Company, Connecticut, USA.

MMD LOT 23346-25 5-42

Vertical stamped MMD (like your projectile) is made by Auto-lite Corporation, (Metal Manufacturimg Division) , USA.
So it is American made.

My answer above seems badly writen.
Both projectiles are by MMD as stated and both cases by BBC.
MMD is noted horizontally and vertically for some reason.
