I picked up a couple of unusual 20mm projectiles this weekend that I have never seen before. The body of the projectile is a composite, possibly a fiberglass type material. The two projectiles each contain a penetrator of different length. The base of the projectiles has four, slightly irregularly spaced copper tabs inset into the base, apparently to hold the penetrator in place. One of the tabs is missing from the right projectile. Thoughts?

Kind of reminds me of the Ford Aerospace 20mm progran, They had aboutm half a dozen different 20mm configurations before Ford sold off the aerospace business to aeroject. I'll start looking through some of my files, may only have a few pics.
