What type projectile this one is for 20mm ShVak?



Hard to find any good information about this caliber.

Hello Dave,

I checked this site few times before.There is only one same looking projectile there.It is PUT(TP-T)? (Empty Solid head projectile with swaged tracer)?

Problem is,i have had one exactly same shape projectile before but it had RED painted top.So i think that page does not show all possible variants.

Those are a couple of nice API rounds. The Soviet desigbation is 20x99R ShVAK with BZ projectiles. BZ = API

I have two projectiles perforantes and one breaker, the perfotantes are painted one of green and different of red, that are the two?

Left side projectile is typical RED/Black which is API for russians.Red alone is HE.Green is tracer in 7,62x54R,so propably in 20mm too.

But diagram shows also that left one is hardcore model with separate ballistic hat(bakelite useally or aluminium).Not the same model i posted before.

I have this hardcore type also:

I do not know, but that is 20mm shvak insurance, tomorrow I will put photos of the two perforantes with different color one green and red other one
