Just received this 23 X 154 Belted Drill round. Is it a 23 X 154 B or is this the same as the 23 X 152 Belted Russian ?

At my age I often talk to myself.

I think that the item in question is most probably a South African Manufactured 23 x 152 B Soviet round made by Denel for export to other African countries. The 23 mm x 152 B is used quite extensively in Africa.

I have seen fired cases, but will take a closer look at the head stamps next time and will report back.
