Just back from a Normandy trip and found a relic 25 pdr Cartridge Box (the rusty one ) it is a dug up relic but a rare one never the less.
This is quite different from the other I have in my collection which carries 8 carts in cardboard tubes and clamped in place ,the relic box I have just found carries 8 carts loose inserted through the baffles from each end of the box which would have had a lid either end.
my question is does anyone have any pictures with the designation number of the box (C number)
