25pdr DRILL

The drill rounds I ave and that have caps have no markings.
I agree. My Australian wooden Mk1 Drill just has an unmarked blackened steel cap with the spring extension that holds onto No 117 or 119 fuzes.
There is no knurling to hold the cap tight on my drill round so maybe a cap exists without the spring part? They just use an already-made cap.
I do not think any of my No.117 or 119 fuze caps have maker stamps?

These shell were used for practicing loading HE shell with a 117 or 119 fuze. All the ones I have seen used an old HE cap with the spring broken off..

The 213 also had a fuze cap, but there is not a setting ring on the dummy fuze. The 221b did not have a cap, but was only used for carrier shell such as smoke or illiuminating.
