Here is a round from the old days,early 1900`s. The bullet is not original, I just stuck it in the empty case.

Some info on the round:

Introduced in 1900, by the Stevens Arms & Tool Company and designed by C H Herrick. H Pope the famous barrel maker liked the round and it was a favourite of his. The round was very accurate.

.28 cal 120 grain lead bullet with 30 grains of Fg Black powder.

Case length 2.5" - 63mm

Remington made the first factory loads but the round was dropped from their 1918 catalogue.
