Last one to id again please.. is the cartridge shown to the right of a .50,, the cartridge is smaller than the 50 ,but the projectile seems to be the same size ,

Again, I confirm that you have a .5 Vickers. It is a semi-armour piercing F Mark Iz.

The Royal Navy considered the semi AP round was as good as the full AP round but considerably cheaper to produce.

see the attached picture of a .50 Vickers Ball projectile-note the "Left hand " rifling.
Projectils is very similar in profile to a BMG excepting the jacket has a slightly sharper curve to the tip and a shorter body.
