2pdr naval ammo box inserts with history

I have recently obtained a load of wood inserts from 2 pdr ammo boxes. They are from the old St. Christopher Motor Torpedo Boat base at Fort William. These boats often took part in commando training excercises with commandos from the Achnacarry Commando School. The ones in the picture are WW2 dated but there are quite a few that have dates back to the late 20s. All the pre WW2 ones are unvarnished and have the details (the same as in the photo but with various manufacturers and dates) stamped in the wood rather than stencilled. If anyone wants any pre WW2 ones, they can have them for what they cost me (3 each plus postage of 2 for a single item but there will be savings if more than 1 purchased). Dave
