This is a practice rocket for the 3.5in Bazooka.it is missing it tail fin assembly does anyone have a quality photo of one so i can attempt to make a replica,Feel free to add more info,photos documents on these rockets.This one is 1953 dated

Nice Garand... Do you have any close-ups of the markings?

I want to redo a Practice round that I have and the original blue paint is almost gone.... so...... I was thinking.. why not make a HE replica :tinysmile_twink_t:
 
Made under licence ?

It is of note that the British made (under licence I believe) models were "Practice" with the heavy cast iron head and a much lighter version the "HE Sub" this version was filled with an inert wax but had the actual "Copper" focusing cone in the nose.

Only ever saw a few of those and that was immediately after firing !

A few "HE Sub" rockets turn up now and again but all are missing this Copper cone inside the head.

The British used different nomenclature on UK manufactured rockets. For example The fuze on the M20 Rocket was called the Fuze Percussion L5, U.K, M404 Mark 1 and was marked (stamped) L5 UK M404 Mk1 on the Fuze body.
 
I'm not back in the office until next Wednesday, I'll see what I can do then.
