Hi All,

Found another one of these a few days ago and its the first one that is dated (1936) and also has a + sign on one side.

Generally I think the markings denote RHS or RHSK as Rheinmetall? the number letter ie 195e is a batch?? the + sign its the first one Ive seen.

Any info much appreciated as ever

Rh. S. = Rheinmetall - Sömmerda
K = 1934
1936 = 1936

195e can be described as a batch number or lot number, yeah.

Lichtspurhülse Nr. 1 for Bodenzünder 5103 & 5103*

Hi,

Thank you , makes sense :)

The K being 1934, will J be 1933 and so on?

Any idea on the little + sign?

Thanks again

Well, I’m not entirely sure to be honest if the + is a factory marking to indicate for which variant of the 5103 it belongs to. But in my opinion, it’s definitely possible.

I’ll add this though:

I’ve documented the following (see attachment)

These fuzes,(5101/5103/5103+/5103*/…)come with so many slight differences , it’s quite interesting to say the least.

If anyone knows or has seen the + on other examples, or has some more in depth information on all the different variants that exist, feel free to share…

I forgot to add:

The year letters aren’t alphabetical by any means.

A = 1925
Z = 1926
M = 1927
T = 1928
R = 1929
B = 1930
E = 1931
O = 1932
N = 1933
K = 1934
G = 1935
