I picked this up for another customer i had in mind but after looking at the case stamps,it begs the question 'Is this a special one?' and i may keep it!

Is this case for export as denoted by the star after the case number?

No, it's not for export. If I remember correctly the star has something to do with case raw material. The same appears often in 2cm Flak cases.

No luck this time, Paul, it is a common early Flak case. You can find them restamped with "3,7cm Flak 18" also. And with several types of eagle.

Don't know about stars,Waff, but if it does happen to come my way,I hope that it won't add too much to the price!!!!
