As far as i am aware the C/30 projectile was never used in that case, it is just one of those things when someone has put two bits together that dont belong.

By nature many men can't resist to stuff any hole they come across...

Though this projectile was loaded on German made 37x252R cases for the Russian M39 AA gun.
