3" AP Rocket Head

I finally found a nice 3" Rocket Head Shot 25lb Mk1. Original paint with 1/2" white band and 1" white tip.
Body is stamped: V.A. LOT 52 2/43. 235mm long body (9.25") and 315mm overall (12 3/8")/
White paint is worn but looks like: REPD SYD/6 (or G), 5/49 (or could be a 3 or 8 as worn away).
Is VA for Vickers Armstrong? and repaired in Sydney Australia?

Yes a motor and tail would be a nice find but I need 3 of them.
I also have a Shot AP Mk11 and an Australian HE 18lb GP No1 Mk1 head from 1964. I may photograph them if intereted.

I just checked my 1952 TM9-1985-1 and the 18 lb rocket is different to the one shown. Base fuzed not nose fuzed.

Ron,

Do you have a picture of the back side without the adapter?
Is there a hole in it?

Greetings - Antoon

I am not sure which rocket head you want photographed.
I have photos of the HE in Nov. 30 2021 query so check if that answers your query.
If you want a base photo of the solid Shots I can take them. Please specify which photos you need. Ron.

The head is solid with no hole as in the printed diagram. A hole would serve no purpose as it is not a tracer.
Yhe base of the spigot is also flat.

I have posted this item before on Nov 30 2021.
Look under rockets in third screen (more 3" rocket heads).
