3 inch Probert AA projectiles

Let me put my question in the proper thread.
The black projectile is a U.S. Mk34 Mod 1, dummy solid fuze, inert and empty.
So it is a Drill round or a practice (if one goes by ww2 colours.) But the case is inert so not a practice for firing -
Is Black the correct colour for the U.S.N. for Drill ? Or is this an American Drill round in repainted for Canadian use Black beng practice -though by this time parctice ought to be light blue.
Or is there a Nato standardized colour scheme used for these at this time. I've likely confused myself over something simple !

Giving it a bump, still hoping to sort out the 1960s colour coding for this.
