Does anyone know exactly what this item is ? I think it may be a signal of some kind possibly for the 3 inch mortar. It has a 3\" diameter and is 2.25\" tall. It resembles a 2 or 2.5 ich signal grenade but bigger. As you can see by the pics it's not in the best condition, there are no internals and it has the remains of white paint on it which I suppose could either be illum or drill. Any ideas ? Tony.
