3" Stokes mortar questions

A friend has a few questions on this US 3 inch Stokes mortar and British Stokes fuzes.

What is the type number or nomenclature for the US fuze?

The US Stokes has a much larger fuze thread diameter - was there ever an adapter to enable the British fuzes to be fitted?

Regarding the 3 British Stokes fuzes pictured - the flat top Mk 1 and 2 later types varying in safety holes and lever catches:

What are the type numbers or nomenclature for these fuzes?

Can anyone supply a drawing or details showing the internals of the straight-sided Mk 1 fuze?

Lastly, what cartridge was used with these mortars?

According to "Handbook of ordnance data" from 1918 p. 245 (available for download on Google books), it's the Mark VI fuze :


British had the n° 28 and 79 SUTTON fuzes, which are alike.

The cartridge was a 12 gauge cartridge containing 150 grains of cordite.

The two 'fuzes' with levers are pistols - Pistol, HE Bomb, 3-inch Stokes Trench Howitzer Mk. I (II or III)
The fuze - No. 146/7/8 (The cap appears to be wider than the body, thus more likely to be either a 146 or 148)

It seems there are 4 different versions of the pistol MK II. I don't even know if they are all called MK II. I found only one drawing in my docs with no explanations :

I tried downloading the Stokes mortar handbook from Lex's site, but it wouldn't work as the file is corrupted. Does anyone have this available on CD that I could buy?
