30mm ID Needed

Hi All
Picked up a couple of these.
Two the same both in 30mm Aden LV cases (1967 VGC)
Fairly sure they are not Aden!!??

I think they may be for the French version of the 30mm x 170 Rarden Round?

Nose looks like it may accommodate a ballistic cap?
Steel drive band

Stamped 133 140 293
Base is threaded so I am inclined to SAPSE/SAPHEI?

I've not seen one looking like that before, but I am inclined to agree with you: it's a base-fuzed SAPHE of some type with a missing windshield/ballistic cap.

The 30 x 170 HS 831 / Oerlikon KCB would seem to be a likely possibility, but I can't confirm that.

Will look through my spare Brass for an MR stamped 30 x 170 case.

Shells/projectiles are not my thing, but your 30mm looks a lot like the second round, minus all the parts in the pics. Hope that helps.
