I found this clip, first developed in 1944 Germany as an aircraft cannon mk 103, i am still looking for further info

I am afraid that you have the 30 mm PLDvK 53 clip.
Post war Czechoslowak AA gun. The round in the clip certainly is post war made in 1953.

thanks Bob, i suspected so, can you tell me if it is part of a clip or a complete one
Mick

Thanks Bob, I quite like the clip (part of ) I know the German Nazis developed it in 1944 for a flak gun and aircraft application, its still a nice piece to find, its the 1st one I have come across I must say, are they scarce Bob
thanks
Mick

Hi Mick.
Not many of the clips float around in the Czech Republic. I did not look for them however :)
Gun model 53 was soon substituted by model 53/59 which was fed by 30 round magazines (quite heavy when loaded).

Hi Bob
A 30 round magazine would be heavy as you say, thanks for your comments Bob
