30mm Projectile ID ???

Hi can anyone help me ID this 30 mm projectile , because of the numbers on the body I thought it was Oerlikon , is it an old AP type projectile

Hmmm, I'm sure I recognise that round. Will have to see if I still have all the info from my old collection on an old computer somewhere!

Just a stab in the dark, but could it be a 27x145 APHC? the shape of the ogive reminds me of the 27mm. As does the driving band.

Hi now that I have the projectile in my hands its easier to Study .
The body is made of Alloy .it has some sort of tracer pocket , The fuze is threaded on the inside and Quite long . The projectile is numbered like most Oerlikon projectile's
Can Anyone please help Its 30 mm next to my steel practice one .the info I have it was some sort of AP that would have carried a Tungsten core ?

I remember it well now. Came from Beltring I'm guessing 10-15 years ago. With the unfinished primer pocket all I could surmise was that it was a prototype of APHC-T of some sorts testing an alloy casing. When I find all my records on the collection I can let you know if the fuse came with it or if I added it for visual aesthetics and if it came with a case or not.

The RARDEN XL2E1 had a steel body not Alloy .with the numbers being above the drive band as seen on Hispano and Oerlikon projectile's I think it has more in common with these
