37G 1942 Drill round disassembled.

I was handling the round when I noticed the projectile was loose, so I unscrewed it. Dated 1942, well marked, ( " Drill") and nicely inked. Pictures of the parts posted for interest.

I agree, its a lovely round ! i collect the service rounds but have not managed to find any decent drill rounds over here yet. Thanks for showing it, best Weasel.
