37mm ID

I saw this at a fair at the weekend, a 37mm round made into a lamp.. Does anyone recognize the projectile from the driving band? It appears to be distinctive, and unlike the hotchkiss type band. One of the experienced members on here thinks it may be Spanish, so looking for confirmation or details of an alternative. TIA.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I don't believe the driving bands on the projectiles you show are the same as the one pictured. I have examples of the Spanish production. The drive band on the one in question (which I don't have in my possession) has an approximate ratio of 1/2 -1 1/2 - 2 , base band, groove, forward band making the groove quite wide compared to those shown. I didn't think that manufacturing variances would be that great, so feel it it is 'different'.
