I have managed to find this if its any use to you ...
Japanese High Explosive Incendiery used with the HO-203 aircraft cannon in the Ki-45 KAI heavy fighter plane which saw plenty of use during WW2 The Japanese characters on the projectile say HO 203.

Base markings

Hi,
The crossed cannons represent the Osaka arsenal mark.
The number 6 is for the month of June.
The stick figure character represents the number 18.
The last two characters represent the Showa year.
So, when translated, 6 month 18th year, means June 1943.
Cheers,
Invest
