37mm M16 Casing Markings

Just for general info, just got in several brass 37mm M16 casings that were stenciled on the side but not stamped on the base. Cheers, Bruce.

Somebody must have recently uncovered a stash of that type. I had never seen one like that up until a few months ago. This is the third now. Thanks for posting.

The US did the same for late war 105mm How cases.

That's a nice case, i have only seen the laquered steel cases M17 with the ink stamp on before, i would love one of those.

Here is something I just saw on ebay. It is a 37mm M16B1 steel case with a head stamp. I have never seen these with anything but an ink stamp on the side in the past.
