Can anyone identify the maker of this 37mm solid AP projectile? It is a first war model but dated 1938 above the driving bands, which are typically French. TIA.

SAEER possibly refers to Société Anonyme L'Équipements Électriques et Radio. SAEE was around at least as far back as 1920, and added the R at a later date. I do not recall what the 1747031462854.png stands for, though I do remember seeing it somewhere before.

Many thanks for that. I can't find any historical information as to their involvement with munitions on the net. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

The only other information I have is from my notes. From somewhere, I have that they may have been a managing company for other companies and were heavily involved in equipping the Maginot Line. The source was somewhat basic or vague, and I have a question mark after this in my notes, which indicates that it is not from an original source document.
