Can someone tell me anything about this 37mm cartridge with it's odd hand stamped 37 MM NESCO headstamp? It is included in a large collection I would like to dispose of. Thanks.
 
NESCO = National Enameling & Stamping Co., Milwaukee, WI. Known for 20 x 110mm Hispano case production, WW2 to the 1950's.

Appears to be hand stamped; a test production/ preproduction cartridge case?
