Hi hope someone can help , I've got this 37mm / 3.7 cm ???
The body is marked M 43 N460 I S A W the W looks like a fork ,
It has a threaded nose for a fuze ,
The base also screws on but is stuck with age
There is a number stamped into the base plug
N4601
Any ideas at all please
Thanks Ken

A guy has these for sale on QFA
Apparently they are Hungarian 37mm`s?
No idea as to case size (obviously 37 x ????)

Thanks for the link , Yes seen them on QF I've got a painted one , but seeing Markings like this , and having a Base plug , I kinda Accepted it was Hungarian, But now I don't think it is with M 43 being stamped middle but higher than all the rest of the markings , matching number on the Base plug which is threaded and same number on the body ,
There is reference to a M 43 U-boat deck gun early German,
Maybe someone will get a definite id on this some day

Thanks guys

Will have a look at mine - I think I have some with M 43 on the side but all of them have N460 on the base plug.
