I think this is a british 37mm projectile made by Vickers. Am I right? Is it possible to date it?

You are correct. Impossible to date exactly but most likely of the 1900 era. After 1902 the need decreased.
But foreign sales would have driven any further production up to 1914. You should have no trouble
finding a case for it, others here should be able to help you.
 
Who can help me on a drawing of the internals of the fuze / a cutaway drawing of the fuze.
