3in case

Hi could anybody tell me anything about this case its 6.25 ins tall and all most 3ins dia and stamped on the base VS&M the case mouth has 4 indents.

Hi Andy,
I have a little list of cases and 75x159 is a WW1 2.95 inch L10.6 mountain gun.
But I have knowledge of that round, so I really cant say for sure.

Can you confirm the dimensions in mm.
Anyone else any ideas??

I don't know where there from had the pics for years on a floppy disc just found them
Has anybody got any more info on them a photo of one perhaps.
