3in MarkII/07 Shrapnel combo question....

Your case is definitely Antiaircraft. There are at least 3 types of shrapnel projectiles calibers, 3 inch 23 cal landing gun, 3 inch field gun and 3 inch anitiaifcraft gun. To be definite on identification, we need to know the length of the projectile, and a photo of the entire projo would help.
Your projectile does look like one of the longer ones, which would be appropriate.
