3pdr Question

Does anyone out there know what the manufacture of this 3pdr is? The rotating band is gone and all you have to go by is the profile. I'd like to know what company made it and what the rotating band looked like so I can replace it. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Bruce.

I think it had the three ribbed band, not rounded like Hotchkiss Paris but more angular. Lack of markings likely means the markings were on the band.
So Winchester might be a good bet. There should be images on the site of these.

Would the band be made of pressed brass?i've seen that style on 6pdr projectiles.

I think it is one of these. I think they are brass, at least the early ones.
I don't have one to check how ever.
