Another box from a shop.
I ask what 4.5" projectiles? were in this box.
Only one side has print. It has P 721 on the end. Lid is not hinged.

Dimensions are: 26" x 12" x 7.5". (660x310x190mm).
Inside dimensions: 610x270x140mm.
There are 2 wooden slats inside so it held 2 rounds. Any information is welcome.

Naval 4.5" MK6 gun as fitted to NZ Navy Leander class frigates. Plenty of these boxes this side of the ditch.

Hi as the other person as said its for 4.5 in SL was fitted to most RN ships from the late 40s to the late 70s The box also should have 2 stools nose to hold the shell in place The lid is held on by the Depot inen seal and also tied at each end after 25 years can still remember the knot Hope this info helps Steve EX RNAD Trecwn
