Hello all

my sister and her boyfriend has come over from Belgium for christmas and gave me this case.

It was found in a large out house,apparently the building hasnt been dissturbed for many years,so they dont know whats in there!!

Anyway it has the following markings if anyone wants to add the details.

CS (surrounded by square)

on the primer

CF - Case life, it has been filled once with cordite or other non blackpowder propellant.

CS - C. Collins, Ltd., 30, St. Paul's Square, Birmingham - the manufacturer.

KN - This would appear to be King's Norton Metal Co.

No, I have no projectile 18 pounder but wish I did. The one in 3rd pic of your first post looks just fine to me. I like the Howitzer casings, short n sweet
 
I like these short Howitzer cases as well. I have four 4.5" Examples currently and hope to acquire more.
