I had two made up, one for the 4.7" and one for the 3" A.A.
They worked out well enough the limitation being turning an actual matching screw
thread, they were made ribed instead. The one on the 4.7' looks a little bright, I'll tone
it down a bit more. Wood used was maple which is rather bright compared to the real thing
after 100 + years.
